My Services.
Every property is different, so every plan starts the same way — walking your place, understanding your goals, and working out what your land and your budget can actually support. From there, the work usually falls into three stages: building the plan, implementing it, and consulting along the way as things change.
Curious what a regenerative farm plan actually involves? Browse the Regenerative Best Practices library before we talk.
Farm Planning
Regenerative Whole Farm Plan
We spend some time together to understand your context.
I write up a regenerative farm plan, including a regenerative soil management plan, a grazing strategy and infrastructure plan. This is all according to your farm context and your personal goals.
Ongoing Farm Consulting
After the farm plan is complete, we work together to implement it on your place.
We have as many consultations as you require to keep you on track for your farm goals. These consultations can include soil testing and interpretation or finding solutions to specific management problems.
Farm Plan Implementation
After a regenerative farm plan is created, we consult extensively to ensure that we are creating the ideal solution, and I can take the role of a project manager in implementing the farm plan.
This includes dealing with the relevant contractors, soil testing labs and even employment services to find the right fit to manage your place.
Farm Mapping
Contour Mapping
Using publicly available or drone-collected data, I build DEM-based maps of your property including contour maps, aspect maps, slope maps and hillshade maps.
You will have full access to both raw data and finished products that will help you with communication and decision-making on your property.
Farm Infrastructure Mapping
Using a mix of satellite imagery, drone imagery and on-site assessment, I build maps of farm infrastructure including water, fencing, soil classification and land class.
These can be used for future decision-making, communication or simply for getting to know a new property.
Drone Mapping
While satellite imagery can provide a good overview of your farm, on-site drone imagery mapping provides a higher level of detail. Using a pre-programmed drone flight over your property, we can develop a detailed map for whatever use-case you desire. The level of detail can be negotiated, with lower-elevation flights providing higher resolution at a lower speed.
Farm Business Planning
Regenerative Transition Planning
Moving away from conventional systems is as much a financial decision as an agronomic one. We build practical transition plans that map out staged implementation, cash flow through the changeover period, and clear milestones — so you know what to expect, when, and why, before you commit capital or time.
Finance-ready Business Plans
Banks and agribusiness lenders want more than a good idea — they want a plan that holds up under scrutiny. We prepare business plans structured for credit committee approval, covering enterprise budgets, partnership structures, and cash flow modelling, drawing on direct experience securing agribusiness finance ourselves.
Succession and Partnership Planning
Multi-generational farm businesses often put off the hard conversations until they become urgent. We help families design clear partnership and succession structures — covering entity setup, trading arrangements, and decision-making roles — grounded in firsthand experience building a working father-son partnership from the ground up.
